ABOUT US
Our Mission
Our purpose is to promote community partnerships through financial distributions, primarily through the Resale Boutique and the expertise of its volunteers.

Our Story
Six individuals gathered around a dining room table in 2016 to begin brainstorming the perfect non-profit that would serve the “Platte Canyon Community” along the HWY 285 corridor between Shawnee and Conifer. The Resale Boutique was successfully opened in July of that year. They launched a “Partnership” concept whereby local non-profits would be granted a specific period of time to team with the Resale Boutique volunteers and be awarded a portion of the profits. By 2022, fourteen direct service non-profits have participated and over $209,000 has been awarded. In addition, service scholarships are awarded to high school students who live in the area and who donate at least 20 hours of volunteer time.
The Platte Canyon Community Partnership (PCCP) Resale Boutique is a totally volunteer organization with a grass-roots beginning. The PCCP Boutique is true to its name: everyone who participates is a volunteer -- no paid staff. The volunteer concept means everyone has chosen to give of his/her time and expertise to support a cross section of individuals and groups in our mountain community. The Resale Boutique has become a unique community presence offering not only furniture, collectables, décor, household goods, and clothing donated by the community but also a space for people to connect.
Our Board
Nestled in the heart of Bailey, CO, the community resale shop stands as a testament to local spirit and generosity, managed entirely by a dedicated volunteer board. This board, comprised of passionate residents committed to serving their neighbors, ensures that the shop operates smoothly and efficiently. Their collaborative efforts go beyond typical retail management; they curate donations and foster a welcoming atmosphere that invites people to engage and connect. As a result, we have had multiple Gracie Award winning volunteers, which is a local recognition award for service given by Platte Canyon Area Chamber of Commerce.
The proceeds from the shop support various community initiatives, providing funding for local programs, charities, and student scholarships that strengthen Bailey’s social fabric. Through their tireless work, this volunteer board exemplifies the values of cooperation, philanthropy, and community pride, transforming a simple resale shop into a hub of hope and support for all who visit.
Donna was sharing time with friends many years ago and suggested they gathered to create a local resale shop that consistently gives back to the community. With roots in education and theater, Donna has always enjoyed servicing the community. PCCP Resale Boutique is the outcome!

I grew up and remained in Illinois until I was 25 when My husband introduced me to Colorado. Since then, my daughters, husband and I have lived in Missouri, Ohio, California, and Texas. Through each move we dreamt of retiring in Colorado. 9 years ago it happened! Shortly thereafter, I found the Bailey boutique. It needed me and I needed it. The friendships, laughs, and even the hard work make for a perfect relationship. Come join us!
