GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS

PCCP Resale Boutique is proud to support scholarships and charity grants for those in our community. Below, you will find applications for our student scholarships and our annual grant application to be considered as one of our charity beneficiaries.

All beneficiaries must be located along the Hwy 285 corridor between Conifer and Shawnee, Colorado. We have raised over $209,000 over the years with more to come!

We consider our grant beneficiaries annually in October for the following year.

Our scholarships are considered throughout the year and are available to students who attend Platte Canyon High School and Conifer High School. Home school students are also eligible to apply as long as they live within the 285 mountain corridor community.

What is the Grant Beneficiary Program and Benefits

Our mission

As a community-based volunteer organization, Platte Canyon Community Partnership (PCCP) Resale Boutique supports non-profit organizations and local initiatives along the HWY 285 Corridor from Shawnee in Park County to Conifer in Jefferson County.  Our purpose is to promote community partnerships through financial contributions – primarily through the Resale Boutique - and to utilize the expertise of volunteers.

Overview

Selection of non-profit 501(C) (3) organizations for a partnership grant will be based on their direct service to children, adults, and families in need in our corridor (Shawnee to Conifer) as detailed in the application.  Each non-profit is unique in terms of its purpose, goals, current programs, volunteer base, and financial needs.

If any requested documentation and information is missing from the application, without an explanation, the application will not be considered.

  • A PCCP Resale Boutique Board member will be designated liaison for each beneficiary for reviewing and supporting grant beneficiary volunteer activities.

  • Once a non-profit is selected as a beneficiary, a partnering plan will be developed for the assigned month and submitted at least two weeks in advance.

  • The selected non-profit will provide volunteers to the PCCP Resale Boutique for a minimum of ten (10) hours per week according to a plan developed by the beneficiary coordinator and approved by the PCCP liaison.

  • The participating beneficiary will receive a portion of profits from the PCCP Resale Boutique based on beneficiary needs, goals, volunteer contributions and participation, with consideration for the number of potential available beneficiary volunteers.

  • Within six (6) months of receiving their grant from PCCP Resale Boutique, the beneficiary will submit a Grant Use Report on how the funds were used.  A report form will be provided.

PROMOTIONS

  • Each beneficiary will develop and produce promotional materials and social media to help generate sales in the Resale Boutique.

  • PCCP Resale Boutique will provide space for promotional information, brochures, business cards at the front entrance, in the newsletter, and on Facebook.

Expected BENEFITS

  • The beneficiary will receive monies that will benefit specific projects and programs that directly support children/adults/families.

  • Non-profits on ‘the mountain’ will gain more visibility concerning their roles in the community.

  • Special projects and events may be better supported.

  • The concept of ‘partnering’ among non-profits will be enhanced.
